Kimberley process
Zipanugu Swiss Gems AG only purchases, processes and sells conflict-free diamonds certified according to the Kimberley process. The Kimberley process is a control system to prevent trade in “conflict diamonds”. When diamonds are exported from the African country of origin, a certificate of origin - the so-called Kimberley certificate - is issued for the raw diamonds: All Zipangu raw diamonds are purchased with such an accompanying letter.
Responsible Jewellery Council
Through its membership of the Responsible Jewellery Council, Zipangu is delighted to commit to the highest standard of ethical, social and environmental practices.
High-quality working conditions
The master polishers in the Zipangu manufacturing facility come from all over the world and are the best in their trade. Not all of them would find optimum conditions in their home countries for the outstanding performance expected of them. Zipangu has made a commitment to perfection and takes its social responsibilities very seriously: All Zipangu diamonds are produced at high-end workstations under the best technological and economic conditions in Switzerland.
